Job summary

Hanwha Q CELLS is seeking a Field Quality Engineer to monitor and improve field quality across multiple manufacturing sites. You will drive data-based improvements, analyze warranty and field claim data, and coordinate corrective actions to reduce field-related risks and CoQ.

The role requires 5+ years in quality engineering, ISO 9001 knowledge, and travel up to 20-30% for domestic and international assignments. Collaboration with sales and key accounts enables proactive risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Field Quality, Product Reliability, or Manufacturing Quality.
• Understanding of ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.
• Experience supporting customer audits in manufacturing environments.
• Experience analyzing warranty or field claim data.
• Working knowledge of root cause analysis methodologies (8D, FMEA, RCA).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills (Excel and statistical analysis tools).
• Effective communication skills with the ability to present findings to management.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (20-30%).

Responsibilities

• Customer Audit & Corrective Action Coordination: Support preparation and follow-up for customer audits.
• Field Quality KPI Monitoring & Reporting: Consolidate and validate field quality data and customer claims; monitor KPIs and identify recurring failure trends.
• Field Claims & Cost of Quality Analysis: Analyze warranty and field claim data; coordinate corrective actions and track CoQ.
• Product Liability & Critical Incident Support: Support cross-functional investigations; coordinate on-site investigations and root cause analyses; document containment actions.
