Job summary

The Field Quality Engineer at Hanwha Q CELLS will monitor and improve global field quality across multiple manufacturing sites, focusing on field claim data, KPI tracking, and corrective actions to reduce CoQ and field risks.

The role partners with plant quality, legal, and leadership to drive data-driven improvements, supports customer audits, and coordinates cross-functional investigations, including international travel up to 20-30% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.
• 5+ years in Quality Engineering, Field Quality, or Manufacturing Quality.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar QMS.
• Experience supporting customer audits in manufacturing.
• Experience analyzing warranty or field claim data.
• Knowledge of 8D, FMEA, RCA methodologies.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills (Excel and statistics).
• Willingness to travel 20-30% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Support preparation and follow-up for customer audits.
• Monitor field quality data, KPI tracking, and action progress.
• Analyze warranty and field claims; support CoQ tracking.
• Coordinate cross-functional investigations for significant field incidents.
• Support on-site investigations (domestic and international travel 20-30%).
