Job summary

UVeye Inc. is seeking a Vertical Operations Manager to lead delivery, installation, and lifecycle service activities across Fleet, Rental, or Dealership verticals. You will manage Field Service Engineers and coordinators, ensure safety compliance, and drive utilization and cost targets with strong vendor oversight.

Role requires 5+ years in field operations, cross-functional collaboration, and experience with ERP/CRM/FSM systems. Travel to on-site locations is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading field operations, service delivery, or technical operations teams.
• Experience managing distributed Field Service Engineers (FSEs) or technical field teams.
• Experience in automotive, fleet, rental, dealership, or similar operational environment.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives across Sales, Customer Success, Implementation, and Operations.
• Experience with capacity planning, resource allocation, and operational forecasting.
• Strong understanding of SLAs, KPIs, and operational performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Operational Accountability: ensure delivery, installation, and lifecycle service activities within assigned verticals (Fleet, Rental, Dealership).
• Delivery & support ownership: plan resources, safety compliance, and quality for installations and maintenance.
• Sales-Operations interface: translate commitments into executable operational plans.
• Field Service Leadership: manage Field Service Engineers and Coordination staff; target 80% utilization.
• Vendor Oversight: monitor installation partners and contractors for cost, quality, and execution.
• KPI & OKR Management: drive on-time delivery, first-time fix rates, and cost per install with corrective actions.
