Job summary

Core4ce seeks a versatile Network Deployment Technician to support staging, deployment, and sustainment of a global enterprise network and security infrastructure. Travel 50%–75% to remote sites for turn-ups, hardware refreshes, and cutovers.

You will configure routing/switching (Cisco, Ruckus), SD‑WAN edge appliances, and Palo Alto firewalls, while ensuring DoD STIG compliance and virtualization support.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on enterprise network deployment/field engineering.
• Experience with large-scale data migrations or hardware cutovers preferred.
• Clearance: DoD Secret or eligibility desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute site turn-ups, hardware refreshes, and decommissioning.
• Configure and troubleshoot Cisco/Nexus, Ruckus ICX, and PAN‑OS firewalls.
• Implement and validate SD‑WAN edge devices across multiple transports.
• Configure VLANs, trunking, STP, LACP, and dynamic routing protocols.
• Develop site diagrams and cutover checklists using Microsoft Visio.
• Coordinate pre-install calls with site POCs and project teams.
• Provide post-cutover escalation support for issues.
