Job summary

Viken Detection is seeking a Field Deployment Project Manager to lead the installation and deployment of our security and detection systems at customer sites worldwide from kickoff to final acceptance.

This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers and installation partners, coordinating with Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Travel up to 40% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Technical Management, Business, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of project management experience supporting technical deployments, installations, field operations, or related industries.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects.
• Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 40%.
• Passport or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment projects through full lifecycle from planning to customer handoff.
• Serve as primary customer-facing project lead during deployment activities.
• Coordinate activities across Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Service, and partners.
• Manage project risks and budgets, track progress and milestones.
• Support onsite installation and deployment activities and resolve field issues.
• Facilitate project meetings, reviews, and lessons learned.
