Job summary

AppViewX is seeking a Principal Solution Architect (Global Field CTO) to lead AIS strategy and pre‑sales excellence across global accounts. You will own the technical narrative, develop reference architectures, and evangelize agentic identity security to CISOs and CTOs.

Hybrid role requiring hands‑on architecture, external engagement, and collaboration with product and sales to accelerate GTM.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise security pre‑sales, solutions architecture, or a senior technical leadership role.
• Strong working knowledge of agentic AI systems, non‑human/workload identity, and service account governance.
• Demonstrated track record as an external‑facing technical evangelist: conference speaking, analyst engagement, or published thought leadership.
• Proven hands‑on architecture and build capability – this is not a strategy‑only role; the person must be able to personally build and demo complex technical environments.
• Demonstrated experience engaging CISO‑and CTO‑level stakeholders on strategic, multi‑stakeholder deals.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to move fluidly between deep technical detail and executive narrative.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.
• Willingness and ability to travel 30–50% for customer, analyst, and industry engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic field leadership, evangelism and external presence on agentic identity security across conferences, webinars, analyst briefings, and publications.
• Build and maintain analyst relationships (Gartner, KuppingerCole, Forrester) to shape AIS market evaluation.
• Engage CISO‑ and CTO‑level stakeholders on AIS opportunities as an executive‑level trusted advisor.
• Own AIS Use Case Map, demo environments, POC/POV frameworks, and reference architectures.
• Architect and execute high‑stakes AIS POCs/POVs across regions with prerequisites and success criteria.
• Lead technical escalation and ensure credible narrative in customer engagements.
