Job summary

AppViewX is seeking a Principal Architect (Agentic Identity) to lead AIS strategy and pre‑sales across global markets. You will be the external voice to CISOs/CTOs, shape analyst narratives, and own the technical backbone including Use Case Map, demo environments, and POC frameworks.

Based in the SF Bay Area with hybrid work, you will collaborate with product, sales, and marketing to mature AIS to sell‑ready maturity and beyond, traveling 30–50% as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise security pre‑sales, solutions architecture, or senior technical leadership.
• Direct exposure to identity, IAM, machine identity, or related security domains.
• Demonstrated ability to speak credibly to engineering and executive audiences.
• Proven hands‑on architecture and build capability; comfortable with demos and environments.
• Willingness to travel 30–50% for customer, analyst, and industry engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic field leadership and evangelism as AppViewX's principal technical voice on agentic identity security.
• Build and maintain analyst relationships to shape AIS market categorization and evaluation.
• Engage CISO- and CTO-level stakeholders on strategic AIS opportunities as a trusted advisor.
• Architect and execute AIS POCs/POVs with clear prerequisites, scope, and success criteria.
• Deliver AIS training curricula and certification paths for the global SE team.
