OrganOx, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Specialist to train and support users of the metra platform across North America. The role involves extensive travel, after-hours dedication, and collaboration with transplant teams to ensure safe, effective organ preservation and data collection.

Essential requirements include a BS with medical experience and 3+ years in ICU/ECMO/transplant contexts; strong communication and problem-solving skills are crucial. Remote work options exist with travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• BS degree with clinical/medical experience; 3+ years in ICU, ECMO, Cath Lab, OR, Transplant, and ED.
• Flexible and willing to support sites across North America.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills and excellent communication.
• Customer facing role requiring clinical field support and collaboration with transplant teams.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Train and support organ retrieval and transplant teams using the OrganOx metra platform.
• On-call 24/7 for about 15 days a month for remote and onsite support.
• Organize site initiation and refresher visits, trainings, and centralized events.
• Communicate effectively with transplant teams and internal stakeholders.
• Travel up to 50% of the time for training, investigator meetings, and education.
• Support management and staff remotely or onsite when not on call.
• Assist in R&D activities in lab settings under management guidance.
• Collect data on livers perfused and preserved to build a performance database.
• Ensure vendor credentialing and pass background checks.
• Attend meetings/conferences locally, nationally, or internationally as needed.
• Foster positive relationships with end users and stakeholders.
• Handle administrative tasks and ensure compliance with quality systems.
