Job summary

OrganOx Limited seeks a Clinical Specialist to train and support users of the metra platform, ensuring safe, effective organ preservation and enabling research studies.

The role requires global travel, primarily within North America, with after-hours work and some long days due to the unpredictable nature of organ donation and transplantation. A clinical background in ICU/ECMO is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Essential: BS degree with equivalent medical experience and 3+ years in ICU, ECMO, Cath Lab, OR, Transplant, or ED.
• Flexible and willing to support sites across North America.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Excellent customer-facing and communication skills.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Train and support organ retrieval and transplant teams using the OrganOx metra platform.
• Be on-call 24/7 for about 15 days per month for remote and onsite support.
• Organize site initiation and refresher visits and training events.
• Communicate effectively with transplant teams, management, and coworkers.
• Create case studies and guidance for senior colleagues.
• Support managers and staff remotely or onsite as needed.
• Potential involvement in R&D activities in lab settings.
• Collaborate with liver transplant teams to collect data and build a product performance database.
• Ensure vendor credentialing and pass routine background checks.
