Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a Sr. Technical Infrastructure Program Manager to lead end-to-end fiber deployment programs across regions.

You will manage vendors, drive KPIs, and coordinate with Networking, Data Center Engineering, Security, and more to deliver high-scale infrastructure on time and within budget. The role requires 5+ years in program or technical project management and experience with data center or network capacity planning, plus strong stakeholder

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program management or technical project management experience.
• 5+ years of data center or network capacity planning, data center or network infrastructure program management, or related technical experience.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of a portfolio of fiber construction programs across multiple regions and campuses, from approved plan through in-service handover.
• Manage construction and carrier vendors to schedule and quality: track milestones, measure performance against KPIs, and drive corrective action when standards are not met
• Run quality control across the build: oversee conduit and vault inspection, validate designs in the field, enforce fiber and OSP standards, and review splice and test results before handoff to internal customers
• Deliver regular status reporting to senior leadership through standardized mechanisms, and manage risk, escalations, and competing priorities across many concurrent builds
• Interface with key internal stakeholders to capture requirements and drive vendors to meet them
• Coordinate site access and approvals in security-regulated environments, and travel to field sites up to 40% of the time for project-based inspections
• Drive process improvements through data analysis and stakeholder feedback
• Anticipate bottlenecks across the portfolio, manage risk and escalations, and balance business needs against technical constraints
