Job summary

Genesys is seeking a Technical Facilities and Project Manager to lead global workplace design, construction, and operations. You will translate strategy into scalable standards across 40+ locations, balancing schedule, cost, quality, and sustainability.

Reporting to the Director, Global Workplace, you will coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver projects on time, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement in facilities, energy use, and security.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple concurrent workplace design, construction, renovation, infrastructure, and facilities improvement projects from planning through closeout.
• Act as an owner-focused project lead, balancing business objectives, employee experience, technical performance, cost, schedule, quality, risk, and long-term value.
• Develop and manage scopes, schedules, budgets, procurement plans, change controls, risk registers, governance, reporting, escalation paths; identify issues early and drive corrective action.
• Coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, vendors, landlords, and internal stakeholders across regions and time zones; support site selection and due diligence.
• Lead operational readiness and turnover, including commissioning, punch-list, asset documentation, training, O&M manuals, warranties, and transition to facilities operations.
• Provide technical leadership across HVAC, electrical, lighting, controls, plumbing, life safety, building automation, metering, and related workplace infrastructure.
• Assess existing facilities and system performance, risks, deficiencies, lifecycle needs, and improvement opportunities; review drawings and specs for functionality and compliance.
• Translate workplace strategies into specifications, standards, workflows, and repeatable implementation guidelines; apply lessons learned to improve global practices.
• Develop and maintain global technical standards, design criteria, specifications, and performance requirements for facilities, building systems, sustainability, and security integration.
• Partner with regional teams to apply global standards while addressing local codes, regulations, and site needs; ensure smooth transition to operations.
• Establish measurable requirements and verify projects perform as intended; support occupancy measurement, space performance, and facilities analytics.
• Embed sustainable design and operating practices into projects and facilities to support Genesys.
