Genesys is seeking a Technical Facilities and Project Manager to lead global workplace initiatives across 40+ locations, ensuring sustainable, secure and well‑designed environments. You will manage complex projects from planning to turnover, coordinating with architects, engineers, landlords and internal stakeholders while driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Facilities Management, or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• 10+ years of experience in facilities, design, engineering, construction, or project management.
• Strong working knowledge of commercial building systems and ability to read architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and technical documentation.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, forecasts, procurement, risks, change controls, commissioning, and operational turnover.
• Working knowledge of environmental management and sustainability practices, including ISO 14001, energy management, high‑performance building principles, codes, accessibility, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent organization, problem solving, decision‑making, written and verbal communication, and stakeholder-management skills; able to work independently in a global, remote environment.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple concurrent workplace design, construction, renovation, infrastructure, and facilities improvement projects from planning through turnover.
• Act as owner-focused project lead, balancing business objectives, employee experience, technical performance, cost, schedule, quality, and risk.
• Develop and manage scopes, schedules, budgets, forecasts, procurement plans, change controls, risk registers, governance and reporting; drive corrective actions.
• Coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, vendors, landlords, and internal stakeholders across regions and time zones; support site selection and due diligence.
• Lead operational readiness and turnover, including commissioning, punch-list completion, asset documentation, training, and warranties.
• Provide technical leadership across HVAC, electrical, lighting, life safety, building automation, metering, and related infrastructure.
• Translate workplace strategies into specifications, standards, workflows, and repeatable implementation guidelines; share lessons learned.
• Develop and maintain global technical standards, design criteria, specifications, checklists, templates, and performance requirements for facilities and sustainability.
• Partner with regional teams to apply global standards while addressing local codes and landlord requirements; ensure smooth transition to operations.
• Establish measurable requirements and verify project performance; support occupancy measurement, space performance, facilities analytics and documentation.
• Embed sustainable design and operating practices; advance energy efficiency, water conservation, and high-performance building practices; support LEED strategies.
