Johnson & Johnson is recruiting a Manager, Planning – External Operations to be based at multiple U.S. locations, including Raritan, NJ.

The role focuses on external supply chain planning to meet service levels, inventory targets, and agility goals across partner manufacturing and J&J distribution networks. The candidate will leverage data to drive continuous process improvements, develop capacity strategies, and manage a cross-functional control tower in a complex matrix environment.

Formación

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required.
• A degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Logistics, or Operations is preferred.
• Either 8 years of related experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Business Analytics, and/or Supply Chain Management is required or 6 years of related experience with a Master’s degree.
• An advanced (MBA) degree is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead External Operations planning activities for a portfolio of products to meet DePuy Synthes service level, inventory and agility objectives.
• Drive service, inventory and agility performance across external supply chains and manage planning activities and product flow from external partner manufacturing facilities to the J&J distribution network.
• Utilize data to drive continuous improvement of supply chain processes in a systematic manner.
• Develop and execute a capacity and supply planning strategy to elevate supply chain performance and establish key performance metrics.
• Oversee control tower management, STEM, capacity planning, inventory management, product deployment, and coordination across receiving inspection and distribution centers.
• Act as an “Air-traffic-controller” between external manufacturing integrations teams & Global Plan/Value Stream Leads for escalation of STEM issues.
• Periodically evaluate planning system parameters and settings that influence net requirements planning and inventory targets.
• Lead and develop a process to receive worldwide demand plans from franchise planning organizations and rationalize demand with global capacity and targets.
• Bring contemporary best practice in supply chain/planning management and coach others.
