Job summary

Univar Solutions is seeking an Export Services Manager to lead NA export operations from The Woodlands, TX. You will manage export logistics, ensure regulatory compliance, and act as the primary liaison for sales and customers to deliver exceptional service.

The role requires 6–8 years in global trade, familiarity with ITAR/EAR, and strong leadership with a focus on cost-effective, compliant transport solutions. Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s preferred.
• 6–8 years in global trade operations, with NA responsibilities.
• Experience in export compliance (DOT, ITAR, IMDG, EAR).
• Chemical industry experience preferred.
• NCBFAA Certifications or IATA/IMDG preferred.
• Fluent English; bilingual skills advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee export logistics personnel and related processes.
• Negotiate spot rates and support carrier procurement.
• Ensure export compliance across regulations (DOT, ITAR, IMDG).
• Be the sales/customer contact for positive experiences.
• Lead North American export operations into a cohesive dept.
• Develop export processes, logistics workflows, and KPIs.
