Job summary

Burnett Specialists is seeking an Export Documentation Specialist in the Spring, TX area to prepare and process export documentation for international shipments and related tasks. The role requires collaboration with internal teams and external partners to ensure accurate, timely shipments.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in logistics or export documentation, strong MS Office and Excel skills, and familiarity with ERP/TMS systems; a related degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in logistics or export documentation.
• 5+ shows preferred in related field, not required.
• Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP, TMS or logistics systems preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to learn new processes and systems quickly.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Comfortable interacting with warehouse operations.
• Able to lift and move boxes up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process export documentation for international shipments.
• Prepare and review commercial invoices, certificates of origin, and other required documents.
• Coordinate with internal departments, customers, vendors, freight forwarders, and external partners to ensure on-time processing.
• Review shipping documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain organized records and files related to international shipments.
• Assist with monitoring invoices and ensuring timely processing of payments.
• Help ensure shipments comply with export regulations and documentation requirements.
• Coordinate the procurement, packing, and shipment of product samples.
• Assist with documentation and logistics related to trade shows and other company events.
• Provide administrative and logistical support to the international sales team as needed.
