Job summary

Grifols is seeking a Supply Chain CSR II for its North America operations based in Research Triangle Park, NC. The role focuses on exporting orders, preparing shipping documents, and ensuring compliance with U.S. export laws while coordinating with freight forwarders and internal teams.

The position requires a B.S. or B.A. degree, knowledge of export regulations, and strong interpersonal skills to interact with internal and external contacts.

Qualifications

• B.S. or B.A. degree.
• 2 years of work experience in a customer service and export shipping environment or 7-10 years of applicable business experience.
• Knowledge of US Customs/ Department of Commerce export regulatory law is required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills in an operations and/or distribution environment are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Prepare export orders and related shipping documentation and back up coworkers during vacations and absences.
• Stay informed of changes in export/import regulations to ensure prompt clearance of shipments.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders and carriers to balance cost and service, and assist with special labeling as needed.
• Handle emergency customer requests, expediting orders and coordinating cross‑department actions for rapid resolution.
• Prepare proforma invoices using pricing categories such as transfer, export, and government pricing; manage standard shipping orders including hazardous materials in compliance with regulations.
