is seeking an experienced Export Control Specialist to strengthen Gore’s global compliance program in export controls and sanctions. The role focuses on monitoring US export control regulations, assessing risk, providing guidance, and partnering with Gore businesses to navigate global and defense markets. The position is located at the Newark, Delaware facility with a potential hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Experience in US export control regulations (ITAR, EAR) and sanctions (OFAC)
• Ability to analyze and interpret regulations and assess impact
• Proven ability to build relationships with stakeholders and influence business
• Ability to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally
• Experience creating risk-based compliance programs and processes

Responsibilities

• Partner with global businesses to strengthen export control requirements
• Assess risk for export controls and sanctions and conduct formal assessments
• Analyze and interpret export control regulations and provide guidance
• Establish IT and process controls for export compliance and monitor effectiveness
• Provide export control classifications and prepare CCATS and CJ applications as needed
• Apply for export control authorizations and licenses with US regulators
• Support responses to customer requests for export controls and sanctions requirements
• Resolve export holds and restricted party screening results
• Conduct and support due diligence vetting for export controls
• Collaborate with global trade experts to harmonize processes and training
