Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school and active bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Significant legal experience (12+ years) including in-house roles supporting global industrial/manufacturing/technology businesses.
• Leadership experience of global legal teams.
• Expertise across commercial law, employment, compliance, and data privacy; IP, regulatory, and international trade matters.
• Experience advising on industrial, electronics, automotive, aerospace, or clean-energy sectors.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted advisor and GPS Leadership Team member guiding strategy, growth, M&A and major commercial decisions.
• Translate complex legal/regulatory issues into actionable guidance for senior leaders across business lines.
• Partner with commercial, product, R&D, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to enable objectives and manage risk.
• Lead and mentor a global team of nine legal professionals.
• Drive Lean, streamlined contracting and standard work to reduce delays and complexity.
• Oversee global matters including commercial contracting, IP, product liability, regulatory affairs, and employment.
• Advise on international trade, export controls, and cross-border transactions relevant to multiple markets.
• Strengthen and own Gore Performance Solutions compliance and data privacy programs across jurisdictions.
• Contribute to enterprise-wide legal direction as part of the Enterprise Legal Leadership Team.
• Champion continuous improvement in legal processes and cross-functional collaboration.
