Job summary

3M is seeking an Executive Programs & Events Lead to own the global executive engagement program within the Transportation & Electronics Business Group. You will design and manage customer advisory boards, executive roundtables, and leadership events that deepen relationships with senior customers and partners.

The role requires 7+ years in B2B events, cross‑functional collaboration, and strong executive presence. On‑site at 3M Center in Maplewood, MN with up to 30% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or Hospitality/Event Management.
• 7+ years in B2B event marketing, experiential/field marketing, executive engagement, or integrated marketing, incl. global events.
• Experience owning end‑to‑end event portfolios with ROI accountability.
• Experience designing executive engagement programs such as customer advisory boards or C‑suite roundtables.
• Knowledge of ABM and integrating events into ABM plays for strategic accounts.
• Familiarity with event tech and ROI/measurement frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Own global executive engagement programs—customer advisory boards, executive roundtables, leadership events, and tours.
• Design high‑trust executive experiences to spark strategic dialogue and long‑term opportunities.
• Capture and route executive insights to shape strategy, roadmap, and GTM decisions.
• Curate SOS journeys across the account lifecycle with cross‑functional partners.
• Elevate executive presence at priority events with headline moments and experiences.
• Define the measurement framework with KPIs and standardized reporting.
