Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Director, Exec Compensation to lead enterprise strategy, design, governance, and delivery of executive pay programs. You will partner with the CEO, CHRO, CFO, and the Compensation & Benefits Committee to ensure alignment with business strategy and shareholder interests.

You will own policy and disclosures, drive governance improvements, and build a high-performing global team, coordinating with Legal, Finance, Tax, Audit, and external consultants to deliver

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum 12 years in executive and equity compensation.
At least 5 years of people leadership experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Strong data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

Own the global executive compensation philosophy and program architecture.
Advise senior leadership with market-informed recommendations.
Lead materials for CEO, CHRO, CFO and Board committees.
Oversee benchmarking and peer group design.
Drive governance improvements and scalable processes.
Oversee compensation disclosures and proxy materials.
Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Tax, Audit and external consultants.
Build and develop a high-performing compensation team.
