Job summary

Yahoo is seeking an Event Operations Coordinator in New York to support strategic planning, execution, and oversight of global events across B2B, B2C and internal teams. The role demands organization, sound judgment, agility, grit and a sense of humor.

You will manage registration, travel logistics, vendor contracts, data reporting, and use Google Sheets, Slides and Docs to produce insights and ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a corporate or agency environment.
• Experience in administrative, operations, project coordination, events, or related support role.
• Strong organization and attention to detail with multi-priority management.
• Project coordination and time management skills to meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with purchasing, invoicing, contracts and payments processes.
• Ability to learn new systems quickly with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
• Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs/Sheets/Slides) and data reporting.

Responsibilities

• Support the Global Events & Experiential Marketing team with administrative and operational tasks.
• Coordinate event registration, attendee lists, and cross-platform data management.
• Develop and maintain presentation materials and meeting decks using Google Slides.
• Collect, organize, and report event data and metrics using Google Sheets.
• Coordinate travel logistics including hotel blocks and transportation logistics.
• Identify opportunities to automate workflows and improve turnaround times.
• Prepare, pack, ship, and organize event materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Manage vendor contracts, purchase orders, invoices, and payments.
• Provide ongoing support to ensure efficient planning and execution of global events.
