Job summary

Renishaw is seeking an Events Manager to lead strategic events, trade shows, and customer engagement programs from our Americas HQ in West Dundee, IL. You will collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Product, and Global teams to align event strategies with business objectives and maximize ROI.

You will manage budgets, vendors, and on-site execution, while mentoring regional teams and ensuring compliance with ITAR and company policies. Travel up to 70% is required for this leadership role.

Qualifications

• Minimum degree in management or marketing with 5+ years of events planning experience.
• Knowledge of virtual/hybrid event platforms.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office to generate reports, construct spreadsheets, and schedule/events.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic events, trade shows, meetings, and customer engagement programs that support business and marketing objectives.
• Lead all aspects of event planning and execution, including concept development, logistics, timelines, and on-site management.
• Manage trade show strategy, promotional activities, and booth operations to maximize brand visibility and lead generation.
• Oversee booth design, graphics, displays, marketing materials, and product presentation standards.
• Coordinate vendors, venues, production partners, and technical requirements to ensure successful event delivery.
• Manage event and trade show budgets, contracts, invoices, expenditure reporting, and ROI analysis.
• Prepare post-event evaluations, including performance metrics and recommendations for improvement.
• Identify and mitigate event-related risks while ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.
• Direct, mentor, and develop the Events/Tradeshow Specialist and support event teams throughout the Americas.
