Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking a Global Corporate Events Specialist to support the planning, coordination, and execution of our global event portfolio. You will collaborate with marketing, communications, and business teams to deliver customer events, executive programs, and industry shows.

The role offers exposure to event strategy, dashboards, and operational processes, with a path toward increased ownership and responsibilities in event management.

Qualifications

• Education – Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field from an accredited program.
• Experience – 2+ years in event planning or related role.
• Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and proven good academic standing.
• Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and large data sets.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and execution activities for customer events, executive engagement programs and industry trade shows.
• Coordinate work across stakeholders, agencies and suppliers to ensure projects stay organized and on schedule.
• Contribute to high-quality attendee experiences through meticulous organization and proactive follow-through.
• Provide onsite support and execution across all phases of event delivery.
• Prepare dashboards, reports and planning materials to track progress for stakeholders.
