Job summary

MFS in Boston is seeking an Event Management Specialist to support the Global Events Team with speaker coordination, program content, and venue logistics for internal and external meetings.

You will manage speaker databases, assist with registrations, and provide on-site support while collaborating with Distribution, Investments, Product, Compliance, and Legal to ensure flawless events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Financial Services experience preferred.
• 0-2+ years of professional experience, preferably in meeting planning or hospitality.
• Experience with virtual event platforms; knowledge of Cvent or similar registration software is a plus.
• Attention to detail and time management are mandatory.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills; ability to work with all levels of staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate speakers and program content for global events and meetings.
• Assist with venue research and AV, food and beverage coordination; provide on-site support as needed.
• Act as liaison between Investment team and Distribution channels on meeting communications.
• Update speaker management data, assist with registration sites and workflow management.
• Respond to partner requests promptly and professionally; maintain client satisfaction.
• Perform other event administrative duties as required.
