Job summary

AWS Event Demand Generation is seeking a senior leader to own the marketing strategy and execution for global events such as AWS Summits. You will manage the end-to-end demand generation lifecycle, drive audience growth, messaging, and cross-channel campaigns with significant autonomy.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record building and scaling demand programs, influencing senior leadership, and delivering data-driven results in a global marketing organization.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience.
• 4+ years developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs.
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
• Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs.
• Experience developing and executing campaigns across a multitude of timezones and languages.

Responsibilities

• Developing and owning the integrated demand gen strategy, planning, and execution for multi-channel event campaigns with multiple program components
• Setting strategic direction for campaign approaches, channel mix, messaging, and audience targeting
• Orchestrating cross-functional marketing teams to drive campaign execution and delivery with a high degree of independence
• Driving audience growth and improving customer engagement through innovative, data-driven approaches
• Monitoring real-time performance, analyzing registration/attendance trends and channel metrics, and making data-driven optimization decisions
• Partnering with regional marketing teams to align demand generation messaging and positioning with local customer needs and market dynamics
• Mentoring and guiding team members through knowledge sharing, process development, and leading by example
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes, tools, and frameworks that elevate the quality and efficiency of the global demand gen program
• Communicating strategy, results, and recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, influencing decisions at the Director+ level
