Job summary

Cisco is seeking an Event Content and Messaging Manager in Morrisville, NC for a six-month contract. You will lead cross-functional stakeholder engagement across Product Marketing, Field Marketing, and Messaging, define messaging for every release, and own rollout timing and channels to drive global field adoption.

You'll enable speaker readiness, manage content production across timelines, and protect brand integrity and visual consistency.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and keep teams aligned through active development cycles and concurrent release timelines.
• Strong messaging and GTM communication judgment, with the ability to maintain a consistent narrative across regions and audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead stakeholder engagement across Product Marketing, Field Marketing, and Messaging.
• Own internal GTM communications for every release in the coverage window, defining messaging, rollout timing, and channels.
• Plan release cascades for each kit launch by communicating changes, affected sessions/tracks, and speakers who need to know.
• Enable speaker readiness for keynote and session moments through prep calls, talk tracks, and speaker guides.
• Co-manage content production and quality by coordinating timelines, reviews, feedback, and QA to protect brand integrity.
