Job summary

BP in Chicago seeks a Technology Service Operations Engineer to support the end-to-end technology services behind BP's global EV charging operations. You will work with the EV Technology Support Lead to maintain an accurate view of the technology portfolio, with a primary focus on the US, collaborating with technology teams, business stakeholders and external suppliers in a fast-moving global environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on ITSM experience including incident, problem, change and request management.
• Experience delivering against SLAs and producing service metrics.
• Familiarity with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow ITSM or CMDB.
• Understanding of full service lifecycle from delivery to retirement.

Responsibilities

• Support the global EV charging activity model in ServiceNow.
• Manage core services through onboarding, operations, SLAs, and decommissioning.
• Support incident and problem management, identify trends and root causes.
• Assist in disaster recovery and business continuity activities.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
