Job summary

bp in Chicago is seeking a Technology Service Operations Engineer to support the end-to-end technology services behind our global EV charging operations. You will collaborate with the EV Technology Support Lead to maintain the technology portfolio visibility in the US, manage services lifecycle, incidents, risk and disaster recovery, and work with suppliers in a fast-moving, global environment.

The role is hybrid (office/remote) with overlap to UK teams and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience managing ITSM processes (incident, problem, change, request).
• Experience working against SLAs and producing service reports/metrics.
• ServiceNow ITSM, CSDM, or CMDB experience strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Support the global EV charging activity model in ServiceNow.
• Manage core services through lifecycle: onboarding, operations, SLAs, decommissioning.
• Support incident and problem management, identify trends and root causes.
