Job summary

bp is seeking a Technology Service Operations Engineer in Chicago to support end-to-end technology services behind bp's global EV charging operations. You will work with EV Technology Support Lead to maintain the technology portfolio, focusing on the US, and help manage ServiceNow, access governance, incident and risk management, and business continuity.

This role requires collaboration with technology teams, business stakeholders, and external suppliers, strong analytical skills, and experience

Qualifications

• Experience managing IT service management processes across incidents and changes.
• Demonstrated ability to meet SLAs and produce service metrics.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow ITSM, CMDB/CSDM, and other ITSM platforms.

Responsibilities

• Support the global EV charging technology services portfolio, primarily for the US.
• Manage services through onboarding, operations, SLAs, and decommissioning.
• Lead incident and problem management, identify trends and root causes.
• Ensure timely incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs.
• Oversee system access using least-privilege controls.
