Job summary

Progress Rail, a Caterpillar Company, is seeking an ERP Leader to own enterprise platforms including Infor LN, D365, and SAP across global operations. You will shape platform strategy, governance, and operational execution, guiding managers who oversee delivery, development, and integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required.
• Master’s degree (MBA or related) preferred.
• 12+ years of ERP experience in manufacturing.
• 5+ years leading managers or multi-layer ERP organizations.
• Experience with EDI and enterprise system integrations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of ERP environments across Progress Rail.
• Ensure incidents, enhancements, and releases are delivered predictably within SLAs.
• Monitor system performance, stability, and user satisfaction.
• Lead managers responsible for ERP functional delivery, development, and administration.
• Define and execute a 2–3 year ERP roadmap aligned to business strategy.
• Drive cloud optimization and cross-site process harmonization.
