Job summary

Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense seeks a Director of Global Enterprise Applications to lead strategy, governance, and delivery of our enterprise applications portfolio. Reporting to the CIO, this role owns the ERP and core platforms supporting finance, sales, manufacturing, and operations across multiple sites.

The position manages a nine-person global team, guides modernization, manages vendors and services, and ensures measurable business value.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in enterprise applications or IT leadership.
• Experience defining application strategy and leading ERP implementations.
• Global or multi-site leadership with senior stakeholder influence.
• Strong people leadership and talent development.
• Vendor/ MSP leadership with governance and contracts.
• Knowledge of IT controls, SDLC, cybersecurity, and audit readiness.
• Executive ability to translate technical concepts to business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own global enterprise applications strategy and multi-year roadmap.
• Provide leadership for IFS ERP across finance, sales, manufacturing, and related functions.
• Partner with business leaders to translate needs into scalable solutions.
• Lead enterprise application implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
• Establish portfolio-management processes balancing initiatives, support, debt, and compliance.
• Build a global support model with internal resources, vendors, and MSPs.
• Strengthen governance, ITGC, SDLC, change management, and audit readiness.
• Lead a nine-person global team across three U.S. sites and the U.K.
