Job summary

UFP Technologies is seeking a Director of Enterprise Applications to lead the planning, selection, installation, upgrade, and daily maintenance of enterprise software, driving productivity across the organization. This role oversees a team of analysts, manages licensing strategies, and partners with service providers to optimize the application footprint.

You will guide ERP implementations, ensure data integrity across systems, and deliver reporting that informs decision making while traveling

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or business; 7–12 years’ experience preferred.
• Specialized training or demonstrated knowledge of ERP functionality.
• Five+ years of supervisory or managerial experience required.
• Experience with software license fees and maintenance negotiations.
• ERP implementation and upgrade experience.
• Knowledge of data conversions and migration reporting.
• Willingness to travel, up to 25% on average.

Responsibilities

• Leads a team of business analysts, maps software functionality to processes, and develops reports to improve productivity and decision making.
• Provides data analyses from various applications to support operations.
• Manages application helpdesk for corporate applications and coordinates with service providers.
• Optimizes the application environment to meet changing business needs.
• Sets priorities for improvements and ensures follow-through with stakeholders.
• Manages ERP licensing to balance business needs with cost efficiency.
• Ensures cross-training of the applications team.
• Provides project management and hands-on support for ERP implementations and related projects.
