Job summary

Global Payments Inc. is seeking a Principal Stock Plan Consultant to join the Global Compensation team.

The role is hybrid and based in Cincinnati, OH or Atlanta, GA, with responsibility for leading equity compensation strategy and program design including RSUs, stock options, ESPPs, and performance shares. You will partner with Legal, Finance and executive compensation, ensure ASC 718 compliance, manage global rollouts, benchmark against market practice, and support proxy disclosures,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, HR or related field.
• CEP designation preferred.
• 8–12 years in equity compensation or executive compensation.
• Deep expertise in global equity programs, tax and regulatory considerations.
• Experience with ASC 718 and equity reporting.
• Experience with equity administration systems (E*TRADE, Fidelity, Shareworks, Equity Edge).
• Exposure to executive compensation design and compensation committee support.
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead equity compensation strategy and program design.
• Partner with Total Rewards and LTI leadership to align programs with goals.
• Manage global equity rollout, compliance and scalability.
• Benchmark programs against market practice.
• Ensure compliance with ASC 718, tax and securities.
• Oversee governance, documentation and internal controls.
• Support proxy disclosures, filings and audits with Legal and Finance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to execute programs.
• Provide insights for compensation planning and board decisions.
• Educate stakeholders with clear communications on equity programs.
