Bloom Energy seeks a Senior Director, EPC Programs to lead global EPC strategy and partner management for the installation business. This role will drive cost-efficient, high-quality EPC engagements across regions and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely, safe, and compliant project execution.

The position requires extensive experience in procurement/contracting within energy or construction sectors, with strong negotiation and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; engineering background essential.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in procurement or contracts, preferably in construction.
• Proven track record in managing EPCs and General Contractors (GCs) in the energy sector.
• Technical expertise to identify and qualify multiple EPC partners.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate international construction projects.
• Extensive negotiation experience with strong cost-target achievement.
• Strong analytical, technical, and legal contracting skills.
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal teams and suppliers.

Responsabilités

• Identify, evaluate, and select EPC partners globally to support Bloom Energy’s installation business.
• Develop and implement a global EPC strategy focused on expansion in Europe and Asia.
• Negotiate costs, scope, performance, and terms with EPC partners.
• Introduce cost reduction tracking methodologies and integrate feedback from design and construction teams.
• Cultivate partnerships with EPCs and explore new business opportunities through partner channels.
• Manage the Customer Installations Group (CIG) supply base to meet schedule and cost goals.
• Establish design, safety, and quality requirements for EPC suppliers.
• Support CIG installation schedules with capacity and timely acceptances.
• Lead the EPC program to drive operational efficiencies and adopt new installation technologies.
• Refine external contracting methods to meet evolving business needs.
