Job summary

Google Data Centers (GDC) Environmental team leads efforts to develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive environmental programs across Google Cloud, ensuring regulatory compliance while pushing forward societal and community concerns.

As a Technical Program Manager, you will coordinate with CSRM and EHS teams to plan requirements, manage risks, and communicate with executives, driving end-to-end environmental initiatives at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Geology, Biology, Meteorology, related fields, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in program management.
• 5 years of experience implementing environmental programs in the tech sector.

Responsibilities

• Define and steer the global goal and strategy for GDC’s Environmental Programs, prioritizing community concerns and aligning regional initiatives with Google standards.
• Partner with executive GDC leadership and stakeholders to integrate environmental initiatives as a core business strategy.
• Standardize and oversee the global environmental risk management framework to identify, evaluate, and mitigate end-to-end risks.
• Establish and monitor global KPIs and drive benchmarking across operating models with focus on community environmental impacts.
