Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Sr. Environmental Development and Permitting Manager to lead environmental development, permitting, and playbook strategy for the MOTO portfolio across multiple sites.

You'll serve as the senior SME for waste programs, reporting, permitting strategies, and emergency response, collaborating with Legal, Real Estate, and Sustainability teams to drive compliant growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program management or technical project management experience.

Responsibilities

• New Site Environmental Development - Own the strategic environmental development program for new MOTO manufacturing sites — defining permitting readiness frameworks, compliance architecture, and activation-to-steady-state transition protocols for rapid facility expansions.
• Lead environmental permitting strategy across all MOTO facilities — setting standards for permit applications, regulatory applicability determinations, agency engagement, and permit conditions management.
• Emergency Response & Spill Prevention - Develop and maintain emergency response plans, SPCC plans, and contingency plans for all MOTO manufacturing facilities.
