Job summary

Amazon’s Air, Water, Spill and Launch (AWSL) team seeks a Senior Program Manager to lead mobile source emissions, air quality and water compliance initiatives. You will develop scalable frameworks, enable field solutions, manage permits, and collaborate with policy and fleet teams to ensure global regulatory compliance.

You will guide risk assessment, reporting, and continuous improvement, while presenting findings to leadership and partnering with internal operations and external agencies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years in compliance, audit, or risk management for air, water, or mobile source emissions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• Strong experience communicating with executive stakeholders and clients.
• Experience coordinating with third-party consultants and vendors.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office and data reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and scale compliance frameworks for mobile source emissions, air quality, and water management.
• Work with internal teams and external partners to ensure regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Monitor regulatory trends and lead audits/assessments of emissions and water programs.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and management updates for leadership.
• Provide guidance on policy implementations and change management.
• Engage with regulatory agencies and stakeholders to advance program goals.
• Travel up to 25% to field sites and regulatory meetings.
