Job summary

The Senior Enterprise Strategy Director at U.S. Pharmacopeial Convention (USP) is a highly visible role that partners with the CEO and global leadership to develop the organization's strategy using fact-based analysis and rigorous research.

You will work across functions to identify priority challenges, refresh strategic choices, and translate insights into actionable plans that advance USP's mission and financial sustainability.

Qualifications

• MBA or Master’s degree in Economics, Management, Science, or related field required or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least three years of experience in top-tier strategy consulting handling complex projects independently.

Responsibilities

• Develops long-term and annual strategic positions with the CEO, Chief Growth Officer and VP of Strategy & Transformation, full Executive Team, and leaders of major programs.
• Framing and analyzing the highest priority challenges facing the organization to achieve its mission and strategy.
• Ensures rigorous research, analysis, and synthesis of major strategic issues facing the Enterprise.
• Leads deep dive projects in areas of high strategic priority.
• Provides thought leadership to clarify and resolve complex issues critical to the organization’s success.
• Facilitates alignment of executive teams around priorities and actions.
• Collaborates with departments and project teams across the organization.
• Captures and shares knowledge and preserves lessons learned for future projects.
