Job summary

U.S. Pharmacopeial Convention (USP) in Rockville, MD is seeking a Senior Enterprise Policy Development Manager to lead policy content development in support of Global External Affairs (GEA).

You will convene stakeholders, manage partnerships, and drive evidence-based policy materials to advance USP's mission to improve global health through quality standards. The role requires strong writing, collaboration across functions, and familiarity with drug development and regulation to inform policy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
• Very strong writing skills with experience in substantive policy materials for diverse audiences.
• Willingness and ability to learn new information rapidly.
• Ability to collaborate across functions to build consensus and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Some familiarity with drug development and regulation.

Responsibilities

• Partner with USP colleagues to develop credible, evidence-based enterprise policy content and support dialogue on issues relevant to USP's mission.
• Convene and engage stakeholders to gather perspectives, build alignment, and inform policy content priorities.
• Cultivate collaborations with academic institutions, consultants, and other external partners to advance policy priorities.
• Manage portfolio of policy content including public policy statements, white papers, journal articles, presentations, and formal comments.
• Develop programs and communications to increase awareness and utilization of USP's policy content among key audiences.
• Ensure policy initiatives align with GEA priorities and USP's strategic plan.
• Deliver 3-4 major projects per year and meet deadlines.
