Job summary

Vital Strategies is seeking a Manager, Enterprise Initiatives in New York City to lead strategic enterprise projects within the GEI Division. You will translate priorities into executable work streams, coordinate across divisions, and ensure timely, high-quality outputs.

The role reports to the Vice President, Global Operations and combines structured project management with cross-functional collaboration, governance support, and technology-enabled process improvement, including AI-enabled

Qualifications

• Minimum of six (6) years of progressively responsible professional experience.
• Minimum of four (4) years’ experience in project management, particularly in operational excellence or process improvement initiatives.
• Experience managing multi-stakeholder projects or initiatives in nonprofit, public health, or international development settings.
• Experience with project and work management tools such as Monday.com, Microsoft Planner, Microsoft Project, Asana, Jira, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned enterprise initiatives from planning through execution and lead defined operational improvement projects with timelines, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and delivery.
• Coordinate cross-functional workstreams related to operations, country office support, and operating models.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and resource needs; elevate issues and propose solutions.
• Monitor progress against OKRs and track actions to ensure timely delivery of key results.
• Develop dashboards and progress reports to provide visibility into project status and outcomes.
• Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, optimize workflows, and improve communication across Leadership Team and Divisions.
• Support governance by coordinating meetings and documenting decisions with timely follow-up.
