IMI plc, a global engineering leader in valve and motion control, seeks a Project Manager for an on-site role in Houston, TX. You will lead a multi-disciplined team across engineering, QA, procurement, and manufacturing to ensure contract compliance, on-time delivery, and profitability.

Responsibilities include primary client interface on all projects, steering project life cycle from order to warranty, and maintaining proactive communications to resolve technical and commercial issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• 2–3 years’ work experience in valve/process control or related engineering/manufacturing industries preferred.
• Experience managing a multi-disciplined project team (engineering, quality control, procurement, manufacturing, cost estimating, delivery/billing, configuration management).
• Knowledge of order management/administration, contracts, US contract law, and commercial negotiations best practices.
• Experience with engineered/buyout products for nuclear valve/process control industries; strong communication skills; ERP and CRM familiarity.

Responsabilités

• Primary customer interface on all assigned projects.
• Manage overall project performance from order receipt through warranty and invoicing.
• Drive on-time delivery, contract compliance and profitability through cross-functional coordination.
• Coordinate with Engineering, QA, Procurement, Production, Shipping and Finance to meet milestones.
• Maintain proactive communication with customers, resolve technical and commercial issues, and negotiate contract modifications when needed.
• Coordinate pre-award, kickoff, lessons-learned, and progress meetings with the customer teams.
• Oversee invoicing at milestones and address payment delays through outreach.
• Report revenues, costs, and gross margin forecasts; manage project risks throughout lifecycle.
