IMI plc in Houston seeks a Project Manager to oversee contract performance, on-time delivery, profitability, and customer satisfaction in a valve manufacturing division. You will lead a multi-discipline team including engineering, QA, procurement, and production to ensure project success from order receipt through invoicing and warranty.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree (engineering preferred) and 2–3 years in valve/process control or related industries, with travel up to 15% domestically

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; engineering degree preferred.
• 2–3 years in valve/process control or related industries.
• Experience leading cross-functional project teams.
• Knowledge of contracts, US contract law, and negotiations.
• Willingness to travel 10–15% domestically and internationally.

Responsabilités

• Be the primary customer interface on assigned projects.
• Oversee project lifecycle from order receipt to warranty.
• Drive on-time delivery, contract compliance, and profitability.
• Coordinate engineering, QA, procurement, manufacturing, and finance teams.
• Manage communications with customers and resolve technical/commercial issues.
• Lead pre-award, kickoff, lessons-learned, and progress meetings.
• Ensure timely invoicing and address payment delays with customers.
• Forecast revenues, costs, and gross margins; manage risks.
