Job summary

Lam Research is seeking a Senior Manager in Engineering Operations to strengthen GPE operational excellence by refining engineering processes, standards, and tool efficiency. You will coordinate cross-functional teams across the US and India, align with digital transformation efforts, and drive on-time, on-budget project outcomes.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in related engineering or operations roles with a bachelor’s degree or 10+ years with a master’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with engineering product development processes and best practices.
• Management experience in technical environments.
• Design engineering experience in semiconductor equipment or similar.
• Familiarity with MCAD/ECAD tools (NX, Creo, Zuken E3).
• Strong data analysis and visualization skills (Excel, Power BI, SAP/ERP).
• Excellent client-facing and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to the global team and develop skills, capabilities, and ownership to meet objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement across engineering development and release processes.
• Develop evaluation methods to assess process strengths and identify improvements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align requirements and drive solutions.
• Create and maintain comprehensive process documentation and drive adoption.
• Develop training materials and present to leadership.
• Manage cross-functional teams spanning US and India.
• Handle escalations and prioritize engineering operations tasks.
