Job summary

Lam Research in Fremont seeks a Senior Manager in Engineering Operations to strengthen GPE operational excellence. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams across the US and India, drive standards, and enable tool and system efficiency while aligning with Lam’s digital transformation strategy.

You’ll lead a diverse team, focus on internal customers, multitask in a fast-paced environment, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree (or 10+ years with a master’s).
• Experience with engineering product development processes and best practices.
• Design engineering experience, preferably in semiconductor equipment.
• Experience with MCAD/ECAD tools and data packages.
• Strong data analysis and visualization skills (Excel, Power BI, etc).
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and conflict-resolution abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to the global team and aid skill development, capabilities, and hiring to meet objectives.
• Continuous improvement of engineering development and release processes and practices.
• Develop evaluation methods to assess process strengths and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to define problems and align requirements with stakeholders.
• Create, publish, and maintain comprehensive process documentation and drive adoption.
• Develop and present training; deliver project plans to senior management for buy-in.
• Manage cross-functional teams in the US and India and coordinate global work priorities.
• Represent operational interests in corporate cross-functional teams.
• Organize engineering information for fast discovery using corporate tools.
