Job summary

Ada Infrastructure seeks a North American Energy Infrastructure Lead to guide the execution of our global energy strategy for its data center portfolio.

You will collaborate with the Global Lead on power procurement, clean energy initiatives, market research, and reporting to ensure reliable, cost-effective energy delivery across regions. Strong leadership and senior stakeholder engagement are essential.

Qualifications

• > Bachelor’s degree in engineering, energy management, business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• > 7–10 years in energy management/utilities with data center/infrastructure focus.
• > Extensive experience negotiating energy contracts and PPAs.
• > Strong leadership to build/manage global teams.
• > Financial acumen with budgeting and modeling.
• > Ability to partner with C-level executives and diverse stakeholders.
• > Travel willingness to travel globally.
• > Familiarity with data center operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop a global energy strategy aligned with Ada Infrastructure’s goals and sustainability targets.
• Lead long-term power capacity planning for reliability and efficiency across regions.
• Oversee teams handling power procurement, energy agreements, and sustainability initiatives.
• Own the full power lifecycle from site selection to energization and operations.
• Drive renewable energy targets and energy efficiency improvements across data centers.
• Manage relationships with utilities, regulators, and energy providers.
