Aligned Data Centers, LLC is seeking a seasoned energy leader to formulate and execute the company’s global energy strategy, focusing on sustainable growth, utility partnerships, and load growth in core markets.

You will lead energy procurement, evaluate PPAs, RECs, explore alternative energy options, and support public policy initiatives, working cross-functionally with executives, engineering, legal, and finance to align energy with business objectives.

Competenze

• 10+ years’ experience in the utility industry.
• Engineer with direct operational experience with generation assets (coal, gas, nuclear, renewables).
• Education in Engineering, Finance, or Accounting with exceptions for energy industry experience.

Mansioni

• Formulate and execute Aligned’s global energy strategy.
• Partner with utilities and customers to identify well-located demand opportunities.
• Influence public policies to support load growth in core markets.
• Collaborate with customers to establish procurement strategies.
• Negotiate commodities trading agreements (ISDAs, EEIs).
• Evaluate and execute long-term energy products (PPAs, VPPAs, RECs).
• Lead economic evaluation of cogeneration and alternative energy solutions.
• Support sustainability initiatives and broader company strategy.
