Job summary

Energy Vault is seeking a Director of Sales to drive full-cycle sales and manage key accounts in the energy storage sector. This role involves presenting solutions, negotiating deals, and growing a CRM-backed pipeline, with up to 40% travel.

The candidate will lead strategic engagements with utilities, IPPs, and large industrial customers, ensuring revenue growth and market expansion for Energy Vault’s storage technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred; higher degrees are a bonus.
• 10+ years of sales experience in energy/storage or related industries.
• Proven track record selling to utilities, IPPs, and large industrial customers.
• Excellent customer negotiation and deal-closing skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 40%.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and close deals with key accounts.
• Lead customer engagements and manage key accounts and deliverables.
• Present Energy Vault’s products and services and devise client solutions.
• Manage and grow a pipeline using established CRM processes.
• Represent Energy Vault at meetings and industry events to close deals.
• Perform detailed due diligence on public RFPs and pursue opportunities.
