Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a seasoned energy procurement expert to lead North American energy sourcing and infrastructure planning.

You will negotiate PPAs, VPPAs, ESAs, and utility agreements, evaluating market opportunities and regulatory frameworks to reduce risk and drive cost efficiency. The role requires 7+ years in energy procurement, strong financial modeling skills, and the ability to influence senior leaders while collaborating across Legal, Finance, Sustainability, and Site

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, Energy Management, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in energy procurement, energy origination, utility management, power marketing, energy development, commodity sourcing, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Direct negotiations for intricate energy deals including PPAs, VPPAs, ESAs, and utility agreements.
• Develop commercial frameworks and strategic alliances supporting Micron's energy and manufacturing objectives.
• Lead negotiations with utilities, developers, energy suppliers, regulators, and partners; evaluate market opportunities and infrastructure investments.
• Build financial models and analyses to support procurement decisions and risk management.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Sustainability, Facilities, Government Affairs, and Site Leadership to advance energy initiatives.
