Job summary

Micron Technology in Boise, Idaho, is seeking a Senior Global Energy Procurement and Strategy Manager to lead strategic energy sourcing and negotiations across North America. You will shape the energy roadmap, build commercial structures, and partner with executives to deliver carbon-free and reliable energy solutions for semiconductor manufacturing.

The role requires a seasoned negotiator with deep knowledge of electricity markets, regulatory frameworks, and financial modeling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, Energy Management, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in energy procurement or related fields.
• Experience negotiating complex commercial agreements.
• Strong understanding of electricity markets and energy supply agreements.
• Demonstrated financial modeling and analysis capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiations for PPAs, VPPAs, ESAs, and utility agreements.
• Manage energy transactions from market evaluation to contracting and implementation.
• Develop commercial frameworks and strategic alliances for Micron's energy needs.
• Lead high-level negotiations with utilities, developers, and regulators.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Sustainability, Facilities, and Site Leadership.
