Job summary

MongoDB Inc. is seeking a Manager of Client Platform Engineering to own the endpoint platform globally across macOS, Windows, Linux, and mobile. You will lead a globally distributed team delivering zero‑touch provisioning, OS rollouts, and telemetry to measure fleet health.

You will partner with InfoSec to harden the estate, drive a culture of engineering excellence, and manage the tooling budget while ensuring on‑time delivery and strong stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years in end user computing, client platform engineering, or endpoint and modern workplace engineering, including 3+ years hiring and leading engineers.
• Proven experience owning a fleet of several thousand endpoints across multiple countries and time zones.
• Hands-on depth across macOS, Windows, and Linux endpoint management.
• Understanding of DDM and software update delivery for Apple devices.
• Experience with MDM for corporate devices and MAM/AP for BYOD.
• Track record delivering major OS rollouts on schedule with a defined ring strategy and rollback path.
• Experience instrumenting endpoints with a telemetry/DEX platform and driving remediation.

Responsibilities

• Own the worldwide endpoint architecture and roadmap for macOS, Windows, Linux, and mobile.
• Lead release calendar and deployment ring strategy for endpoint OS updates.
• Administer and evolve endpoint management stack across MDM/UEM platforms.
• Own mobile strategy for corporate and BYOD devices across iOS and Android.
• Build and operate Endpoint DEX program with metrics and SLOs.
• Partner with InfoSec to implement endpoint security controls and standards.
• Serve as senior technical escalation point for complex endpoint issues.
• Build automation to reduce manual endpoint operations and improve reliability.
• Advise on endpoint tooling and licensing budget.
• Hire and retain a globally distributed team of EUC engineers.
